Bring Setup
Connect your own Bring agreement so the chatbot can create return labels, quote prices, find pickup points and track parcels — without a broker in between.
Do I need this?
Only if you hold your own Bring agreement. Shipmondo, Profrakt and Cargonizer already resell Bring, and if you use one of those you are covered — this integration is for merchants who would rather not pay a broker for a carrier they already have a contract with.
What you will need
Two values from Mybring
All of these come from your Mybring account at mybring.com.
API UID
The email address you sign in to Mybring with.
API key
Generate one under Settings → API. It is shown once, so copy it before leaving the page.
Your Bring customer number
The plain number from your Bring agreement, something like `10025900191`. Bring rejects bookings without it, even when your credentials are perfectly valid, so the setup wizard will not let you save until it is filled in.
If you are not sure which number to use, leave it blank and press Test Connection. We list every customer number your Mybring user can reach, and you pick from those. (Older Bring material writes the number as `PARCELS_NORWAY-10025900191`; either form is accepted.)
You also have to choose a return product. Return services are listed first — pick one of those, not an outbound service, or the label will carry the parcel away from you rather than back. Bring has nothing to book without one, so the wizard treats it as required.
Test mode never collects anything
Bring has no separate sandbox. Test mode is a flag on the live API, and it produces real, scannable labels that Bring never invoices and never picks up.
The failure is silent and expensive: labels generate, customers post their parcels, and nothing ever arrives at your warehouse. Nothing in the dashboard looks wrong. Turn test mode off before real customers use it.
What the chatbot can do once connected
- Create return labels — part of the normal return flow, so it works the same as any other shipping provider you have connected.
- Quote prices from your own agreement, not a list rate.
- Find pickup points and parcel lockers near a customer, with opening hours and distance.
- Track parcels — this one asks the customer to verify their email first, because a tracking number reveals a name, an address and a delivery time.
Using more than one shipping provider
You can connect several. Mark one as Primary and it is tried first for return labels; if it fails, the others are tried as fallbacks. See Integrations for how that works.
