Supportify vs Shopify Inbox
Free is a strong offer. Here is what it does not cover.
Shopify Inbox is free and built for storefront chat and sales assistance. Supportify adds email and social channels, ticketing, and AI that performs order actions.
The real difference
Shopify Inbox is free, made by Shopify, and its AI sales associate is good at what it is for: answering product questions in the storefront chat and nudging visitors toward a purchase. For a store whose support is mostly pre-purchase questions, it may be all you need, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise.
Supportify is built for what comes after the purchase. It covers email, Instagram and Messenger in one inbox, escalates unresolved conversations into real tickets with full context, and lets the AI act on orders — change the address, swap a size, cancel, refund, create a return and email the label.

What Supportify does
The parts that matter in a comparison
About Supportify only. Our price is served live from our own pricing.
The AI acts on Shopify orders
With each action switched on by the store, it looks up the order and its tracking, changes the delivery address or swaps a size or an item before the order is packed, cancels and refunds, and creates a return with a shipping label from the store's own carrier integration (for example Shipmondo, nShift or ShipEngine). The customer verifies their email before any order data is shown. On WooCommerce it looks up, cancels, edits and refunds orders, but does not create returns.
Norwegian, Swedish and Danish
Each customer is answered in the language they write in, including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English, whatever language the store's own pages are in.
Priced per conversation
$0.60 per conversation, charged once, when the AI first answers in it. Follow-ups in the same conversation, escalating to a person and every seat are included. 50 free conversations to start.
One inbox for every channel
Storefront chat, Gmail, Outlook and other mailboxes, Instagram and Messenger land in one inbox. What the AI cannot settle becomes a ticket with the whole conversation attached.

FAQ
Questions merchants ask
You should not, if storefront chat is the whole job — free is a strong offer and Inbox does that job well. The case for paying is post-purchase volume: order changes, refunds and returns arriving by email and Instagram rather than chat. At $0.60 a conversation, the comparison is against the hours a person currently spends on those, not against $0.
Technically yes, but two chat widgets on one storefront is a poor customer experience. Most merchants who switch turn Inbox off for chat and keep it only for Shop-native conversations.
Yes. The AI detects buying intent, references product USPs and real reviews, knows which product the visitor is viewing and can place the order directly in Shopify without a checkout redirect.
Whatever the store switches on of these: it looks up orders and tracking, changes a delivery address, swaps a size or an item or cancels before the order is packed, refunds, and creates returns with a shipping label from the store's carrier integration. The customer verifies their email before the AI shows any order data.
Yes. It answers each customer in the language they write in, including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English. The price is the same in every language: $0.60 per conversation the AI answers, and 50 free conversations to start.
