Supportify vs Zendesk
No seats to buy before the AI does anything.
Zendesk is a general-purpose helpdesk priced per agent, from $55/agent/month for Suite Team, with AI resolutions at $1.50–$2.00 beyond those included. Supportify has no seat fee and charges per conversation the AI answers.
The real difference
Zendesk is enterprise support software that happens to have a Shopify integration. That shows in both directions: it will handle organisational complexity that a tool built for online stores never will, and it asks you to buy agent seats before anything is resolved.
Suite Team starts at $55 per agent per month on annual billing ($69 monthly), Suite Professional at $115 ($149). Each includes 5 or 10 automated resolutions per agent a month; beyond those, Zendesk publishes $1.50 per committed resolution and $2.00 pay-as-you-go. Supportify publishes one number and charges nothing per seat.

The AI acts on Shopify orders
With each action switched on by the store, it looks up the order and its tracking, changes the delivery address or swaps a size or an item before the order is packed, cancels and refunds, and creates a return with a shipping label from the store's own carrier integration (for example Shipmondo, nShift or ShipEngine). The customer verifies their email before any order data is shown. On WooCommerce it looks up, cancels, edits and refunds orders, but does not create returns.
Norwegian, Swedish and Danish
Each customer is answered in the language they write in, including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English, whatever language the store's own pages are in.
Priced per conversation
$0.60 per conversation, charged once, when the AI first answers in it. Follow-ups in the same conversation, escalating to a person and every seat are included. 50 free conversations to start.
One inbox for every channel
Storefront chat, Gmail, Outlook and other mailboxes, Instagram and Messenger land in one inbox. What the AI cannot settle becomes a ticket with the whole conversation attached.

Which one fits you
Choose Zendesk if
Larger organisations where support spans more than the storefront, and where SLA routing, multi-brand or voice matter more than ecommerce depth.
Choose Supportify if
Shopify merchants who want ecommerce-specific automation without buying seats, and who would rather pay per answered conversation than per agent.
FAQ
Questions merchants ask
A two-seat Zendesk Suite Team subscription is $110 a month on annual billing before any AI usage, whether or not anyone writes in; it includes 10 automated resolutions (5 per agent), and more cost $1.50–$2.00 each. Supportify has no monthly floor: a month with 100 AI conversations costs $60, and a quiet month costs nothing. The comparison flips as your team grows and your AI share shrinks. For a Shopify storefront, usually yes — chat, email and social funnel into one inbox, the AI resolves what it can, and the rest becomes a ticket with full context. What it does not replace is Zendesk-grade routing, SLA management, voice support or internal IT helpdesk use.
Yes. Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365 connect via OAuth, and any other address can be connected by forwarding. Instagram and Messenger feed the same inbox.
Whatever the store switches on of these: it looks up orders and tracking, changes a delivery address, swaps a size or an item or cancels before the order is packed, refunds, and creates returns with a shipping label from the store's carrier integration. The customer verifies their email before the AI shows any order data.
Yes. It answers each customer in the language they write in, including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English. The price is the same in every language: $0.60 per conversation the AI answers, and 50 free conversations to start.
