Supportify vs Tidio

An agent that acts, not a chat widget that answers.

Tidio is live chat with Lyro AI added, sold in conversation bundles. Supportify is an AI agent that takes real actions on Shopify orders, billed per conversation.

The real difference

Tidio started as live chat and grew into AI. Lyro answers well, and the free tier is genuinely usable — 50 billable conversations a month plus 50 one-off Lyro conversations costs nothing.

The model is bundles rather than usage: plans run from $24.17 to $300+ a month, Lyro is an add-on from $32.50 a month for 50 conversations, and pay-per-resolution billing only appears on the custom Premium tier. Supportify is pay-per-conversation from the first one, and is built to complete Shopify actions rather than answer questions about them.

What Supportify does

The parts that matter in a comparison

About Supportify only. Our price is served live from our own pricing.

  • The AI acts on Shopify orders

With each action switched on by the store, it looks up the order and its tracking, changes the delivery address or swaps a size or an item before the order is packed, cancels and refunds, and creates a return with a shipping label from the store's own carrier integration (for example Shipmondo, nShift or ShipEngine). The customer verifies their email before any order data is shown. On WooCommerce it looks up, cancels, edits and refunds orders, but does not create returns.

  • Norwegian, Swedish and Danish

Each customer is answered in the language they write in, including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English, whatever language the store's own pages are in.

  • Priced per conversation

$0.60 per conversation, charged once, when the AI first answers in it. Follow-ups in the same conversation, escalating to a person and every seat are included. 50 free conversations to start.

  • One inbox for every channel

Storefront chat, Gmail, Outlook and other mailboxes, Instagram and Messenger land in one inbox. What the AI cannot settle becomes a ticket with the whole conversation attached.

Credit where due

Where Tidio is stronger

  • A real free tier that many small stores never outgrow
  • Very polished live-chat and visitor-targeting tooling
  • Platform-agnostic — also works on Wix and custom sites, where Supportify cannot read your orders
  • Lower entry price than most helpdesks if your volume is small

Which one fits you

Choose Tidio if

Small stores whose volume fits the free or Starter tier, or merchants on Wix or a custom-built storefront.

Choose Supportify if

Shopify stores past the "answer the question" stage, where the win is the AI cancelling the order or issuing the return label without a human.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask

  • If 50 conversations a month covers you, Tidio's free tier is hard to argue with, and we will say so. Supportify starts making sense when volume grows or when answering is not enough — when you want the order actually cancelled, the return actually created and the label actually emailed. Every store gets 50 free conversations to start, to test that before paying anything.

  • Yes — Dynamic Callout triggers a personalised message based on what the visitor is viewing and how they are behaving, rather than a fixed greeting on a timer.

  • No. Supportify also connects to WooCommerce and Centra stores. On WooCommerce the AI looks up, cancels, edits and refunds orders, but does not create returns: a customer who wants one is given your own return portal link, or handed to your team if you have none. On Wix or a custom-built storefront Supportify can only answer from your knowledge base, without your orders, so there Tidio is the more sensible choice of the two.

  • Whatever the store switches on of these: it looks up orders and tracking, changes a delivery address, swaps a size or an item or cancels before the order is packed, refunds, and creates returns with a shipping label from the store's carrier integration. The customer verifies their email before the AI shows any order data.

  • Yes. It answers each customer in the language they write in, including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English. The price is the same in every language: $0.60 per conversation the AI answers, and 50 free conversations to start.
